Tatev Monastery, Khndzoresk & Areni Day Tour
This day we will visit the medieval Monastery of Tatev. In order to reach there, you need to ride the world’s longest reversible ropeway passing over the Vorotan Gorge. In the 13-15 centuries, Tatev used to be the center of the Armenian science and arts, and you will be able to see what has remained of Tatev University.
Drive to Goris village and visit Khndzoresk bridge and caves. On the way back to Yerevan stop at Areni Winery. We will have an excursion there and wine testing. Return to Yerevan at the end of the day tour.
