From Tbilisi Budget Tour Packages To Armenia
Tbilisi – Haghpat – Sanahin – Mikoyan Brothers House Museum
Start your journey from Tbilisi to Yerevan, Armenia. You will have a tour to the medieval monasteries of Sanahin and Haghpat. Both Sanahin and Haghpat Monasteries are nestled in the stunning Lori Province of Armenia. They stand as magnificent testaments to medieval Armenian ecclesiastical architecture and cultural richness. Situated on a lush plateau overlooking the Debed River, these UNESCO World Heritage Sites are outstanding examples of Armenian religious heritage and craftsmanship. Founded in the 10th century both were centers of learning and spirituality. Those complexes include several structures, such as beltowers, gavits (vestibule), scriptorium, refectory and smaller chapels. Our last stop of the day will be the Mikoyan Brothers House Museum in Alaverdi, which is dedicated to preserving and showcasing their achievements. We will arrive in Yerevan in the evening, where you will check-in in your hotel and have some rest after a busy and bright day.

Sevan – Sevanavank – Haghartsin – Goshavank
After breakfast at the hotel, take the road to the Blue Pearl of Armenia – Sevan, at an altitude of 1900 meters above sea level. We will visit the Monastery complex of Sevanavank on the top of a hill in the Sevan peninsula. After admiring the scenery of Sevan lake, we will continue our route to the 13th century Haghartsin Monastery. In 2011, the monastery underwent a major renovation by Armenia Fund with a donation from HH Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah. The last stop of the tour will be Goshavank Monastery, one of Armenia’s most famous religious sites for a variety of reasons. Its fascinating location, surrounded by dense forests, the color palette of the buildings, the statue of Mkhitar Gosh (Armenian scholar, thinker, and writer), and the one-of-a-kind collection of embroidered khachkars (cross-stones) distinguish this destination from others.
