Dolma is one of the most popular dishes in the Armenian cuisine and surely deserves its own place in the festivals. The annual Dolma Festival takes place in Musaler and Hnaberd villages, close to the ruins of the old Armenian capital, Dvin. Another annual Dolma Festival, known as Uduli is held near Armavir city, Armenia. All Dolma festivals are a great setting to appreciate the Armenian cuisine and enjoy some of the best dolma made of ground beef and spices, wrapped in grape leaves or cabbage leaves. The festivals are accompanied by folk songs and dances and plenty of mouth-watering dolma. At the end of the festival, the jury chooses the best chef. The winner gets a special prize — a golden statue.
