Kakheti is the largest and one of the diverse regions of Georgia. It is also known that Kakheti is the land of Grapes. The fifth part of vineyards in the country are in Kakheti, the grapes grown here amount to half of the grape harvest. But, of course, this is not all, this region is known for freshly baked traditional Shoti (local special bread, kind of long pointed loaf) and the tasty Churchxela (known as Georgian Snikersi).
